Okonkwo: E-learning Assignment!
Okonkwo is my name. I'm known throughout all nine villages for throwing the unbeaten wrestler for seven years, Amalinze the Cat. He was called the Cat as his back never seemed to touch the ground. My fight with him was a great one, possibly the greatest ever since the founder of my village engaged a spirit of the wild for seven days and nights, as the elders have said. In the last twenty years ever since that fight, my fame was growing and growing like a bushfire. My looks was probably one of the most distinct features about me. People have commented that my bushy eyebrows and wide nose give me a very severe look. People have also commented on the way I walk. They say i seem to walk on springs and like I would pounce on people. And I have to admit, I do that quite often. I speak with a slight stammer and I would get frustrated and lose my temper when I cant get my words out quick enough. I believe that a man should be able to support his family and keep control of them. I know that my wives and children live in fear of me. I only fear failre and weakness. I'm not a cruel man. I do not want to be a man with no title. Since young I have never had the oppurtunity to get my own farm and titles as my father was a man without anything to his name. However, people do not judge others by their father's works rather by the person's own works.
